DJI, the global leader in drone technology, has launched its highly anticipated Neo 2 drone in Asia, a palm-sized marvel that promises to revolutionize the world of aerial photography and videography. The Neo 2 is DJI’s lightest follow-me drone yet, bringing a host of new features designed to enhance the user experience and accessibility.
The Neo 2 weighs just 151g and is designed for content creators. The drone features a 12 MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor that shoots 4K video at 60fps and 4K/100fps slow-motion. A 2-axis mechanical gimbal ensures smoother footage, while full omnidirectional obstacle avoidance with LiDAR and infrared sensors makes it safer and more reliable for both beginners and experienced pilots.

The Neo 2 offers up to 19 minutes of flight time and a maximum range of 7 km. Powered by a 1606 mAh battery, it charges in 68-70 minutes. It’s priced at NT$ 6,290 (approximately $195 USD) in Taiwan, with international prices ranging from €229 to €259. The Fly More Combo is available for €399, and the Motion Fly More Combo for €579.
While launching in Europe on November 13, 2025, U.S. availability remains uncertain. Despite receiving FCC approval, DJI has not launched a U.S. marketing campaign, and regulatory challenges remain as the December 23, 2025, FCC deadline approaches.
