Orbotix Industries, a Polish defense tech startup, has received €6.5 million in funding to develop AI-powered autonomous drone systems. These systems aim to improve Europe’s defense capabilities. The investment comes from Bravo Victor Venture Capital (BVVC) and is supported by Gustav Söhne Verwaltung GmbH & Co. KG and Leryon Global Holdings. This funding will speed up the development of drone swarming technology, regarded as an important advancement for modern warfare.
Founded by Bogdan Ochiana from Romania and Sebastian Straube from Poland, Orbotix creates autonomous aerial defense solutions that meet Europe’s security needs. The funding will also help expand micromanufacturing facilities throughout the European Union, keeping production under European control.
The company wants to improve Europe’s technology and operations, especially considering today’s threats. Orbotix’s efforts fit into a larger movement in European defense.
